Dr Nicky Francis
BDS (Otago), BSc (Otago), Post Grad Dip Sci – Nutrition (Massey)
Throughout her life Nicky has had a passion for good health and nutrition. She is a firm believer that great foods are an essential part of living life to its fullest. Nicky has noticed increasing confusion regarding nutrition and diets due to the vast amount of information available. Her desire is to cut through the jargon, the hype and the marketing spin and provide good honest, healthy nutrition advice. Advice that allows people to just simply enjoy their food, without ever worrying that they doing the right thing.
Nicky’s search for answers began with her being a long term vegetarian. She began to notice that she was constantly lacking in energy and always had the latest cold or ‘flu that was going around. Furthermore, Nicky was overweight and expanding at an alarming rate. Following many years of research and study, simple modifications in her diet lead to profound changes in both her health and weight. Having experienced the ill effects of a poor diet and weight problems she is now loving life and loving food as she should.
Nicky is a qualified Nutritionist and a member of The New Zealand Nutrition Society. She is also a registered Dentist. Nicky’s scientific background helps her constantly explore new information regarding healthy living and weight loss. From spending years in scientific and academic environments, she is able to interpret the research on nutrition and provide a simple, concise description on what it all means.
Let Nicky share with you what works and why it works.
